Summer Shipping Policy & FAQ
At Faithfully Pure, we are committed to providing you with the highest quality, organic skincare. Because our tallow products are 100% natural and free from synthetic stabilizers or waxes, they are sensitive to high temperatures.
To ensure your order arrives in the best possible condition during the summer months (May–September), we implement the following:
- Monday & Tuesday Shipping Only: To prevent your handcrafted products from sitting in a hot warehouse over the weekend, we only ship orders at the beginning of the week.
- Insulated Packaging: All tallow orders are shipped with thermal liners and eco-friendly cold packs to provide a temperature-controlled environment for as long as possible.
- Priority Shipping: We utilize expedited shipping methods to minimize time spent in transit.
Summer FAQ: What to do if your Tallow arrives soft
1. Does melting ruin the product?
Not at all! Melting is a physical change, not a chemical one. The vital nutrients (Vitamins A, D, E, and K) and the moisturizing fatty acids remain fully intact. The product is still "Faithfully Pure" and effective.
2. My tallow is liquid or very soft. What should I do?
If your package feels warm, do not open the jar immediately. Place the jar in the refrigerator for 30–60 minutes. This allows the tallow to solidify before you open it, preventing spills and ensuring a smoother texture.
3. My "Whipped" tallow looks half-full. What happened?
Whipped tallow is filled with tiny air bubbles to give it that light, fluffy texture. If it melts, those air bubbles escape and the product collapses back to its liquid state. While the jar may look less full, the weight of the product is exactly the same as when it was whipped.
4. Can I make it fluffy again?
Yes! If you prefer the whipped texture, simply let the tallow cool until it is soft but firm (like room-temperature butter), then transfer it to a bowl and use a hand mixer to whip it back to your desired consistency.
Pro-Tip for Arizona Customers
If you live in a high-heat area, we strongly recommend tracking your package closely and bringing it inside as soon as it is delivered. Avoid letting it sit on a porch or in a mailbox where temperatures can quickly exceed 120°F.
